The Academic year 2024-25 commenced on a highly spiritual and motivational note on Sunday, the 26th May 2024, with Holy Qurbana at our Chapel by his Lordship Rt.Rev.Dr.Issac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa followed by the inauguration of the Chief Guest: Hon’ble Justice Kurian Joseph, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India (Chaired by His Lordship Rt.Rev.Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa).
An illustrious line of speakers from different walks of life, Sri. A J Philip (Senior Journalist and Columnist), Dr. Simon George (Former Dean and now Adjunct faculty of TAPMI, Manipal) , Dr. Mrs. Sara Varghese (Former Principal, Govt. Medical College, TVM), Mr. Mervin Alexander IPoS (Former Member Postal Services Board/ CEO Technopark), Rev.Dr.Ipe Joseph (Senior Clergy of the Mar Thoma Church) ignited our academic vitality and helped us reaffirm our commitment to the student community.
Student Statistics:53 students joined by way of lateral admissions in classes I to IX. A new batch of 196 Plus one students gained entrée into the portals of our Institution on July 18th.
At present STHSS has a total strength of 773 students and 36 teachers.
