St. Thomas Higher Secondary School The Marthoma Church Educational Society Thiruvananthapuram
The St. Thomas Higher Secondary School was established by the Mar Thoma Church Educational Society in June 1984 as Mar Thoma High School with the Bishop of the Trivandrum-Kollam Diocese of the Marthoma Church as its President and the Metropolitan as its Patron.

The school follows the 10+2 syllabus of the Kerala State Education Department. Our team of able experienced, well - qualified and dedicated teachers ensures quality education. But more than that, it helps promote the idea that the individual and the society are interdependent and that it is binding on the individual to make his/her contribution to the economic and social good of the community.

The school stands on a 30-acre campus at Mukkolakkal , adjoining Thiruvananthapuram city - about 1.5 kms east of Mannanthala Junction. Away from the noise and pollution that characterizes urban life, the campus with its panoramic landscape and lush greenery is indeed a haven to the student community.
To develop qualities of leadership, team work and co-operation, so as to train them to be responsible citizens of India.

  • 42nd Annual Day(2025-26) of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Trivandrum was inaugurated by Chief guest Shri. Avitam Tirunal Aditya Varma on 29th November 2025. The Secretary of MTCES, Mr. Rajan Varghese, Treasurer of MTCES Mr. George Joseph, School Chaplain and Boarding Superintendent, Rev. Mathew K John, PTA representatives, Principals and heads of other sister institutions of MTCES graced the occasion by their presence. The Secretary, Treasurer, School Chaplain and PTA representatives gave away prizes for the school toppers of 2024-2025 and other prize winning students. The Annual Report of the academic year 2025-26 was presented by Principal Dr.(Mrs) Lizu Verghis. Our Principal, presented a momento to the Chief Guest. Students of STHSS made us proud by performing dance, skits, drama and other variety entertainment programs.
