STHSS witnessed another Celebration of Christmas on 08-12-2023 with an opening prayer song sung by the School Choir, Bible Reading and Opening prayer by School Chaplain, Rev. Mathew K John.
Shri. R S Jeylal was the Chief Guest of the day. He is the founder President of a Socio-spiritual organisation known as ‘The Rise of Mercy Ministries’ which is having its activities in many states of India. He is a great spiritual leader, preacher, teacher, motivator and writer who holds many programmes both in India and abroad. He is the author of many Christian songs. A very meaningful message exhorting the students to be like guiding stars, and stay untouched by the strongholds of society by our Chief Guest added essence to the yuletide celebrations.
Mr. Cherian Varghese, Secretary MTCES along with Mr. Johncy Cherian, MTCES and Mr. Shibu Scaria, PTA president also attended the function.
The boundless joy of celebrating Christmas was well reflected on all faces during the function. The senior students channelized their creativity in setting up the crib, the Christmas tree, and an open air tent, to accommodate ‘The Nativity Scene’. Students across levels sang Carols and performed special shows.
After, the Christmas celebrations, a congregation of good Samaritans, students and teachers, visited the nearby Government schools, Shalom Special school and Bethany Gramam (oldage home) and shared thhe joy of Christmas by distributing Christmas cakes to the students and inmates.
