The athletic and sporting events culminate in the Annual Athletic meet in which the students participate with great enthusiasm and true sportsman spirit. The opening and closing functions of this meet are colorful events which provide a feast to the eyes.
The students of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School take part in various tournaments and competitions such as St. Thomas Trophy Basketball, St. Thomas Trophy Hockey, Inter-house Tournaments in Basketball, Hockey & Football, Roller Skating and Cricket matches organized in the School or elsewhere. Thestudents of the school take part in sub district, district and state athletic championships and games. Such sporting events organized annually help to develop true sportsman spirit, team spirit and personality. These healthy competitions also help to inculcate social values among children.
